I’ve always been full of stories.

It started with playing make-believe. Then, I learned to wield the mighty pencil, and journeys of magic and wonder transformed into words scribbled in graphite. As the world increased digitally, those graphite markings were replaced with strokes on a keyboard and fingers tapping smartphone screens.

Then, I did the thing we all must. I grew up. Still, amongst the days spent reading textbooks and befriending the tutors of the math resource center, the stories never stopped. Like the Energizer Bunny, they kept going, and going, and going.

Today, I use my love of crafting stories to help brands and individuals craft stories of their own, structuring sentences to evoke the senses, forge engagement, and create conversions.

Here are five things you should know about me.

  1. I pay particularly high attention to detail. This means you can count on me to deliver error-free editorials. However, it also means you can count on me to point out that missing comma in a restaurant menu.

  2. When I’m not writing words, you’ll often find me reading them. In fact, I once faked illness to stay home from school because I couldn’t bear to put my book down.

  3. I’m a proud neurodivergent. Basically, my brain works differently than that of the “typical” human. Specifically, I have ADHD so my brain functions a bit like this. (Some call it a disorder, I call it a superpower.)

  4. I’ve always got a song stuck in my head and AirPods in my pocket. I can say—without exaggeration—that I owe a lot of who I am to who I grew up listening to. Music was, and always will be, my lifeline.

  5. I’m a self-proclaimed video game nerd. If you ever catch me up past my bedtime, chances are I’m either trying to complete my Pokédex, or starting yet another playthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition.
